Holy Week & Easter Schedule
There’s a reason why the church has always called the week leading up to Easter the “holy week.” This is the week when the self-giving love of God is made most visible, the week that Christ suffered and died on the cross for our sins, but then three days later was raised in new life.
It would be easy to treat this week as any another and fill it with all the usual stuff. But we want to challenge you to set aside this week for something special, to journey with Jesus during his last days and experience Holy Week in its fullness. Here are some ways we can experience this as a community:
Good Friday Stations of the Cross
Friday, April 14: 3:00–6:30 pm
Come walk through the traditional Stations of the Cross, but in a very non-traditional way. This is a contemplative and interactive journey with Jesus to the cross through the South Miami neighborhood. The journey begins in our worship space where you can pray and receive a guide before walking through the Stations. The Stations will be available 3:00-6:30 pm and usually takes an hour to complete.
Easter Sunday Worship & Lunch
Sunday, April 16: 10:30 am
Invite your friends and family to join us for our Easter worship service at 10:30 am as we celebrate the Risen King together! Then stick around for big party that includes lunch, music, an egg hunt, ice cream truck, and a bounce house for the kiddos! Easter Sunday is the biggest day of the year for followers of Christ – so get ready to party!
