Forming & growing disciples of Jesus in miami

Called

Rhythm Team

The idea of a believer’s calling has been discussed and commented on countless times over the centuries, especially these last few decades as the “Who am I?” postmodern worldview slowly shapes the thoughts of today’s Christian. We often return to the question, “What was I made to do?” Modern life inundates us with the “could do’s” and “should do’s” which are presented seemingly innocent by friends, family, and sometimes strangers. To make things more difficult, some of us conjure our own ideas so naturally that we can feel pulled any which way. For others, dreaming is more an estranged practice, like a foreign language. Nonetheless, being called is a definite topic of reflection throughout Scripture which has immediate implications for every believer’s life.

In Ephesians 4, Paul writes:

“I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.”

Join us for this 3-week sermon series as we explore how Jesus speaks to each of us individually, what gifts and strengths he has entrusted to us, and where we are sent to join his mission of restoration in Miami.
