Public Worship is the weekly time we meet to pray, worship, celebrate the Eucharist, and learn from the Scriptures with God and each other. We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am at 2013 Coral Way. *** Free parking in the parking garage on the 6th floor. Check out these videos on parking in the garage.
“Liturgy” comes from the Greek word meaning “public worship,” and on Sunday mornings you can expect a mixture of ancient and modern worshipful elements. We seek God in prayer, singing, passing the peace, biblical teaching with some open dialogue, and the Eucharist. We also write many of our prayers, litanies, songs, and other elements of worship, as well as use art and poetry to immerse us in God’s beauty and glory.
Our children are invited to worship with the entire church and then with their peers. Children participate in the first part of public worship and then move to a separate space to continue their worship with storytime, activities, and snacks. Our babies have a separate room where they are cared for and spend time in a simple story and play.
Whether you’ve been following Jesus for many years, are returning to church after a long absence, or are exploring Christianity for the first time – everyone is welcome to join us for public worship. And be sure to hang out afterward as we chat and catch up with one another over coffee and snacks.
